Johan & Cornelis (hereinafter: ‘we’ or ‘us’) takes your privacy very seriously. We may process personal data about you because you have used our website, or because you have provided this information to us using our contact form.

We do our utmost to process the information you have provided to us in a careful manner. This Privacy Statement will provide you with a clear overview of what personal data we process and how we handle it, and will also explain the reasons for collecting it as clearly as possible.

In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Johan & Cornelis is a data controller for the data processing activities detailed in this Privacy Statement.

Personal data comprises information by which a natural person (the data subject) can be identified or is identifiable. The personal data that we may process (i.e. from receiving and saving through to amending, transferring and deleting) can include:

Our website and services do not intend to collect data about visitors who are under the age of 16, with the exception of given permission from parents or guardians. Johan & Cornelis is unable to actively monitor whether  visitor is older than the age of 16, therefore we advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children. This way, we can prevent the collection of data on children without parental consent.

Johan & Cornelis processes your personal data in order:

Johan & Cornelis will not store your personal data any longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. If a statutory obligation exists to retain data or there is a retention period on grounds of professional or conduct regulations, then we observe such periods correctly.
